These were among the questions that an international conference, held in partnership with the \u201cColl\u00e8ge International de Philosophie\u201d at the Lyc\u00e9e Henri IV in Paris in March 2012, set out to unravel. To put Woolf\u2019s work in \u201cthe company\u201d of philosophers, to deploy the open, relatively imprecise, but deliberately non-hierarchical, determinations suggested by the preposition \u201camong\u201d (the valences of which Rachel Bowlby interrogates in detail) was enough to institute a critical premise that would authorise a plurality of approaches, but also a particular historical take.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(From Chantal Delourme\u2019s foreword)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Comment pense l\u2019\u0153uvre de Virginia Woolf\u00a0?
